What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

PPF is a transparent, self-healing urethane film applied to your vehicle's paintwork. It protects against stone chips, scratches, bird droppings, and UV damage whilst maintaining the original appearance. We use XPEL Ultimate Plus — the industry-leading film with a 10-year warranty.

Do brand new cars need to be detailed?

Yes — even premium manufacturers have limits to the time they spend finishing paintwork. Factory paint often has swirls and holograms. We can take the manufacturer's finish beyond their capabilities — the improvement possible even on a brand-new car is phenomenal.

How long will it take to PPF / detail my car?

Depending on the level of PPF or detail, timescales range from 3 hours to 12 days. Some special projects and intricate cars can take longer. We'll provide a detailed timeline at the quote stage.

How long will the protection last?

PPF carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Ceramic coatings last 2–9 years depending on the product used. With correct maintenance, results can last from 2 months to 10+ years. Most clients have their cars detailed annually with maintenance treatments in between.

What is a ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating harnesses advanced nanotechnology — silica atoms with fluorocarbon molecular bonds create a high-density 3D structural coating matrix. Once bonded to your paint, it protects and enhances the gloss and depth, forming a durable shield for years to come.

What products do you use?

We are XPEL accredited for PPF and use Gtechniq for ceramic coatings. We are independent and choose products based on rigorous testing — each selected to suit its individual purpose for the best possible results.

Will detailing affect my manufacturer's warranty?

No — it will not affect your manufacturer's warranty. In fact, correct care is an important part of maintaining your vehicle's finish throughout the warranty period and beyond.
